Memverse AU.. Oh Memverse Au....Team yellow-green are visiting Splatsville for an upcoming tournament. On the train there, Rider falls asleep.
He opens his eyes to see.... Something resembling inkopolis square. But it's not! It's all blank and quiet and so unlike the square he knows-- Then he wakes up. what a strange dream...
That very night at the hotel they're staying at, Rider has the same dream.
...and the night after, and the night after. until it slowly starts bleeding into the day!
As in he starts to take longer naps until hsi teammates get worriedWhy's he staying in this strange dream?
...He meets another inkling there. unrecognizable to him, the most defining feature being the goggles this inkling wears (can u guess who this is)
The two dont know eachother, at all. They just happen to hang out because-- well, Rider keeps having the same dream, so maybe its nice to have some company for once. And they have fun in here, in The Memverse!
Ranging from things like drinking a vending machine soda on the top of a dead coral branch to accidentally setting off 40 parallel canons at once...

They do anything they can think of. Be it practical or just plain fun!
Doing these activities seems to grant them a color chip at random. The color chips can be accessed through a port on the discarded laptop they found. These chips seem to hold memories...
...Memories from Rider's point of view, about the very same inkling he's been spending time with in the memverse
Through the new memories they make and the old ones they reveal, the two become good friends for the second time.
Sooner or later, it becomes apparent that Goggles has been erased completely from existence. No records exist, pictures are altered in such a way that any goggles-wearing inkling can't be seen, and team blue is nothing but a team that has since gone their own ways after the CoroCoro cup.
Rider starts spending more time in the Memverse. so much so that, as previousy established, He sleeps during the day just to stay in the dream.
eventually he's at a risk of disappearing, like Goggles did. But he wants to stay, here with the memories he has uncovered and made with Goggles. Doing so would mean he'll cease to exist. Will he stay, or will he leave?
